This project is a proposal for three houses in a conservation area. The site is located in a back-land, hidden from the public realm but surrounded on all sides by residential buildings.

The aim of the scheme was to design a low lying set of houses that are discreet and yet materially intriguing, improving the outlook and relationship of the neighbouring buildings with the site.

The tones of the materials proposed for the houses together with the multitude of planting, trees and intensive green roofs produce a wonderfully rich outlook and drastic improvement to what was originally an overgrown and unloved back-land.
